Mr. Samiron Kumar is currently working as a Lecturer of Chemistry at Jamalpur Science and Technology University (JSTU). He obtained his B.Sc (Honour's) Degree in Chemistry from Jagannath University (JnU) with CGPA of 3.84 out of 4.00, securing first position in his Chemistry Depatrment. He also done his M.Sc Degree with thesis on the field of Organic Compounds Synthesis from the same University, achieving the CGPA of 3.84 out of 4.00 and also holding his first position once again. He obtained NST (National Science & Technology) Fellowship for his outstanding M.Sc thesis work.
After completing his M.Sc Degree, he was also selected as a Research Fellowship at BCSIR in Chattogram. After that, he joined as a part-time (3 Years) Lecturer of Chemistry at Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Department and also as a permanent lecturer (approx. 1 Year) of Chemistry at same Department in 2023 in Dhaka International University (DIU).
He has published several research articles in many Internationally renowed Scopus-Indexed Journals. His Research interests encompass Organic Compounds Synthesis, Nano Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Oleogels Synthesis and so on.
