Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Jannatul Ambia Akhi joined the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Jamalpur Science and Technology University as a Lecturer in 25 March 2026. She completed her B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), securing second position in her class with CGPA of 3.92, and later completed her M.Sc. (Engg.) in EEE from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), the leading engineering university in Bangladesh.
Her research interests cover Hollow Core Fiber Design (HCF); MIR Optical Fiber Design; Optical fiber sensors; Semiconductor Devices. She has published international journals and conferences.
Prior to joining the university, she worked as an assistant professor at Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology, Khulna and served as a Senior Lecturer at North Wesrtern University, Khulna, Bangladesh. She also worked as a teaching assistant at KUET. She has also actively participated in various engineering and technology-related events and activities.
