I am Dr AHM Mahabubur Rahman, working as an Assistant Professor at JSTU. I was the founder Chairman of the Social Work Department at Jamalpur Science and Technology University. Also served as an Assistant and Acting Proctor and a Syndicate Member at this university. Additionally, I have served as a member of the finance committee and academic council at this university. I also served as a chairman of the transportation committee and director of the central cafeteria at this university. Furthermore, I have served as convener for various cultural, sports, and University Day programs at this university. I was born in Jamalpur, Sharishabari Upazila, and completed my SSC and HSC at Sarishabari under Jamalpur District. Also, I have completed my Graduation and post-Graduation in the Department of Social Work at Rajshahi University, where I achieved excellent results. In 2012, I completed my PhD at Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh. Teaching and Research, Reciting poems, Writing poems is my passion, and I have written two famous poem books "opakhay Theko" & " Je Kastte Mon Pura". I am also a prominent columnist and write various columns by writing in english and bangali at a daily newspaper on the issues of literature, politics, economy and contemporary issues. I have written several textbooks on social work education in Bangladesh. The names of my books are History and Philosophy of Social Work, The Emergence of Independent Bangladesh, and Social Work (Non-Major), etc., for 1st-year Hons Students. Indigenous community, climate change, Social Development, Community Development, and Vulnerable groups development in Bangladesh are my research areas. I have supervised the social work student at their Field Practicum, Field Visit, and Practice research. I  supervise a thesis research fellow in my department. I strongly believe that the development of my country basically depends on patriotism, honesty, dedication, and transparency in education. So, my support and dedication to my national development as long as life.
