I am Imrul Kabir, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Jamalpur Science and Technology University, located in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. I spent my childhood in Maderganj Upazila of Jamalpur District, where I also completed my primary and secondary education. I passed my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in 2011 and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination in 2013. In the HSC examination, I received a Merit Position Scholarship from the Dhaka Education Board in the Humanities group. I completed my Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) with Honours from the Institute of Social Welfare and Research at the University of Dhaka, where I secured First Class and achieved 3rd position in my department, with a CGPA of 3.79 out of 4.00. I also completed my Master of Social Science (MSS) with a thesis from the University of Dhaka, obtaining a CGPA of 3.68 out of 4.00. Teaching is my passion, as it allows me to combine education with research. My research interests include climate change, gender issues, disability, public health, community development, and indigenous peoples. I have already published several research articles in Q1, Q2, and Scopus-indexed journals in countries such as the USA, Australia, Canada, and the Philippines. Currently, I am seeking to pursue a PhD in North American countries to further enhance my research and academic expertise. I believe that teaching is not merely a profession; it is a noble responsibility that contributes to the development of society. As a developing country, Bangladesh requires high-quality education and research to achieve sustainable development. My goal is to contribute to improving higher education and research in my country so that students can gain effective learning experiences, strong research knowledge, and the necessary skills to contribute to the future development of Bangladesh.
